Crews install new Hot ‘n Now by Gun Lake in less than a day

WAYLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — In the morning, the Gun Lake-area site was empty. By the afternoon, a new Hot ‘n Now restaurant was in place and looked ready to go.

Crews on Tuesday delivered and assembled the building at at 1146 129th Ave. near US-131 in Wayland Township, across the street from the Gun Lake Casino, as the iconic brand makes its return to West Michigan. The 737 square-foot drive-thru building was manufactured by B Cubed Manufacturing, which builds “plug-and-play” structures off-site.

After Tuesday’s installation, crews will work on the finishing touches, like putting in cooking equipment and hooking up the building to utilities.
