It’s official: Hot ‘n Now is coming back to West Michigan

WAYLAND, Mich. (WOOD) — Hot ‘n Now, the once-popular fast food restaurant, will return to West Michigan.

Gun Lake Investments announced on Tuesday that they have acquired Hot ‘n Now and plan to open two locations over the next year, one near Gun Lake Casino in Wayland and one in Alpena. They plan to open more locations in the coming years.

GLI is the economic development corporation owned by the Match-E-Be-Nash-She-Wish Band of Pottawatomi, also known as the Gun Lake Tribe. GLI is forming a separate business called HNN Holdings LLC to run Hot ‘n Now, partnering with northern Michigan developer Jeff Konczak.

“We are thrilled to announce the brand acquisition and new stores alongside such a great partner,” GLI Chief Executive Officer Monica King said in a statement. “Our teams share big ideas, energy, passion and dedication, so we are eager for this collaboration to move to the next step.”
